Kathiy started at the Hannah in November 2015. She has an arts, event and venue management background. A dancer, performer and dance teacher from way back (to far to say!), she loves working in a theatre environment and would love to assist you in booking the Hannah Playhouse.

Kia ora. Ko Aotea te waka, ko Te Atiawa tōku iwi, ko Puketapu tōku hapu. No Whanganui a tara ahau. Eleanor tōku ingoa. Eleanor is your key contact at the Hannah. A Wellingtonian with a strong enjoyment for the fantastic range of arts, culture and nature experiences we have access to. Eleanor is our newest team member (joining us in Feb 2019) and has a variety of skills gained in her HR career and also from retail and hospitality.

Neill started at the Hannah in April 2015 and is one of the most experienced theatre technicians in the country. His will assist in translating technical and set designs to fit into the idiosyncrasies of the Hannah Playhouse's unusual shape. He also monitors health and safety within the venue. Neill is supported by our small team of expert and experienced theatre techs.

While Bern started with the Hannah in late 2016, she has been working front of house in Wellington theatres in a range of capacities for years. Bern oversees your fabulous experience here at the Hannah Playhouse during performances and events.
Ushers / HOSTS
Our wonderful ushers will look after your every need, and are easily identifiable in the new Hannah uniform. As a bunch they love theatre in general and the Hannah in particular. Some of them are very artistically gifted in their own right and disappear from time to time to perform around the country.
Hannah Bar Staff
Our bar staff will make you welcome at the Hannah - the ice creams are very popular too! We often have new ranges of beverages and confectionery to offer - and sometimes pre or post show dinner deals... just ask at the bar. They can also advise you regarding transport options around the area.
TICKETING AGENTS
The Box Office staff, be they Hannah staff or the productions' own ticketing agent, know our venue and will ensure you get the best seat at the best price. They can advise regarding the dates of the season, programmes, merchandise and how to find your way around the building.
Breta
Theatre Mascot
Yes, she's part of the team, and while she doesn't come to work everyday, Breta will enthusiastically welcome you to the Hannah Playhouse. She thinks she is the star of the show... every show. Give her gentle scratch under the chin and you'll have a new friend for life. Watch out on social media for photos of our casts and stars with Breta - you haven't made it until you have been photographed with Breta!
